The “Arch of Europe” Prize - gold category

This prestige international award became possession of “Bistra and Galina” Hotel, on 5th of May 2001. What stands behind the prestigious award is 110 criteria of quality, successfully covered by the managing team and the people working at the hotel complex.

Their road to success was rather short – only two years’ time. But impressive it is. For this is the second award for Rousse’s Hotel – in 1999 it was awarded the prize “Most effective investment in tourism” by the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association.

On 5 March 2001 in Frankfurt, Germany, Jose Prieto - the President of “Business Initiatives” awarded The “Arch of Europe” Prize - gold category to Zdravka Bardarova , the manager of “Bistra and Galina” Hotel as acknowledgement for the success of the common efforts of the managing team and the employees.

Prize for increasing the popularity of Bulgarian tourism abroad
		On the occasion of the Inter-national Day of tourism, 27 September, the Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association awarded the “Bistra and Galina” Hotel-Complex the Prize for increasing the popularity of Bulgarian tourism abroad – 2001. The prize was handed at a ceremony under the aegis of the Prime minister of the Republic of Bulgaria, Mr. Simeon Saks Koburggota, at the “Sheraton” Hotel.

Platinum Award for Quality “Era”
		The Hotel celebrated its third anniversary with yet another prize - International Platinum Award for Quality “Era”. The award was presented at a formal ceremony in Geneva, Switzerland, in July 2002, by the same organisation BID. It is worth mentioning that the hotel was singled out for both awards by an international selecting commission evaluating the contestants by means of the “Total Quality Management” system (TQM), comprising 110 criteria. The quality of service provided, client’s satisfaction, innovations, management, leadership, communications, are among these criteria.

Emoloyee of the Year

The Rousse “Rotary Club” distinguished the “Bistra & Galina” hotel in 2002 by choosing it for its permanent club venue. At the end of the year an annual hotel prize for high professional qualities “Emoloyee of the Year” accompanied with a gold badge /14 carats/ was set up.

For 2002 the prize was conferred to Mrs.Zdravka Bardarova- manager.

International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry
		As a recognition for the efforts of the team, during 2004 to the ceremony in Madrid, hotel complex „Bistra & Galina” received „International Award for Tourist, Hotel and Catering Industry” - platinum category.

"City Hotel of the Year" Prize
		In the end of 2004 the Hotel received with unanimous decision the Award of the Bulgarian Hotel & Restaurant Association- City Hotel of the Year.
